You've found my Beatles page. Good for you. Either you stumbled upon it, and hope to get out of it soon, or you realize that The Beatles were and still are the best band ever. They changed music forever, and other bands would never have formed without them.
John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr (for those Beatle illiterate people) were the four mop-topped Scouses (Liverpudlians) who took the world by storm with their music. Some of the best songs were: Hey Jude, Let it Be, Love Me Do, Day in the Life, I Want to Hold Your Hand, Revolution, Yellow Submarine, Come Together, Octopus's Garden, Lovely Rita, Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds... and so on. John was the rhythm guitarist and sometimes piano, George was the lead guitarist, Paul played bass and piano, and of course, Ringo was the drummer. John, my personal favorite, was pretty much the leader of the group. He was intelligent, clever, funny, a great song writer, and moody. Paul was the cute one with the backwards bass, and George was the quiet, but not dumb one. Later on in the Beatles era, he was very much into anything Indian, he even learned to play the sitar. That's the instrument you hear on Norwegian Wood. Ringo was the funny, pretty much sarcastic one. He's sometimes mentioned as the dumb Beatle. I sure hope the people who say that are getting help from their psychiatrists. Yes, those are the Beatles. Cool, huh?
